How to 10X Your Life

By 10X your life I’m talking about how to be, do, and have more than what you’re experiencing today.  How to 10 times your effectiveness.

I’m excited about the approaching new year. As 2017 comes to a close and the new year approaches I’m working on my mindset, goals, and strategies. One way I’m doing that is with the creation of my Dream Book.

My Dream Book is a special notebook that contains My Vision, Letters to myself, and my ultimate BE, DO, and HAVE goals.

I bought a simple three ring binder at the office supply store along with some vinyl sheet protectors. (see it in the video)

Letters To Myself

At the front of the notebook are three letters to myself.
1. A letter to myself from 5 years in the future.
2. A letter to myself from the end of the upcoming New Year.
3. A letter that describes my perfect day.

Both letters number 1 and number 2 are written from a future time looking back to the present. The 5 year letter recounts all of the amazing things that have happened in my life. It talks about my personal life, my spiritual life, my relationships, and my business. All of the goals I’ve accomplished and the achievements I’ve celebrated.

Next is my Vision and Value Proposition:

My mission is to build a fun, exciting, robust real estate practice
that inspires and enables others to achieve their dreams.

Value Proposition

I help people who want the joy, security, and pride of owning the home of their dreams.
When someone is planning to buy or sell a home they have a problem that deserves expert assistance. I am their solution.

Next is my Have, Do, and Be pages.

The HAVE page uses pictures to visualize my Marriage Goal, the Office Building I want to build, the Vehicles I want to own, the House overlooking the Central Texas Hill Country I want to own.

The DO pages uses pictures of the places I want to visit or re-visit.  Primarily our National Parks like Yellowstone, Glacier, Denali, Grand Canyon, Canyon Lands, The Red Woods, etc.

Finally, the BE page reminds me of the person I must be to do and have these things in my life. This is the kind of person I must be in order to succeed written in the form of affirmations.

There you have it.  When I review My Dream Book every morning as part of my morning routine, how do think I feel? I feel excited, energized, and enthusiastic.  I’m totally ready to conquer the day.
