I used to live in Cedar Park, so it’s no surprise to me that it just ranked among the most livable cities in U.S. I know live in Leander, just a stone’s throw away.
SmartAsset.com studied 286 cities to find those that ranked as most livable across 11 metrics. The looked at things like home affordability, job opportunities, health care accessibility, income equality, and entertainment density. Cedar Park came in #44.
Another north Austin city, Georgetown, came in at #63. These two cities are only about 8 miles apart.
Over recent years this city has topped many such studies and the number of people wanting to live here increased dramatically. I am a real estate broker and receive calls, texts, or emails, almost every day about the north Austin area.
In this week’s video I list the Top 5 Reasons For Moving To Cedar Park:
- Proximity to Austin which is only 17 miles away
- Prices of homes are lower than Austin’s prices
- Parks, Parks, Parks.
- Jobs. This area is a high-tech employer hub
- Restaurants, Shopping, and Sports.
