Help Others. I’d like to share with you why #helpothers is more than just a hashtag.

For me, #helpothers is a personal philosophy. It’s a business philosophy. And, I want you to know that I mean it whenever I ask, How can I help you. Because, to me, being a real estate professional means helping others, as well as developing relationships.

I’m not just looking for my next transaction. I am looking for people to whom I can add value in some way.

Let me say that 2018 has been a very good year for me in real estate.  I want to thank my clients, my friends, and my relationships who referred people to me who I helped sell or buy a home in the Austin area.

I’m looking forward to providing value to even more people in 2019. So, when I ask you, How can I help you? I really mean it.  What can I do for you?

Some of the ways I helped others in 2018 other than in a real estate transaction included:

1. Praying with a friend who was suffering
2. Giving a few rides to the airport
3. Picking up people at the airport
4. Paying for a cup of coffee for a new relationship
5. Buying lunch for an existing relationship
6. Delivering pizza to a friends house
7. Offering some free coaching to a business man
8. Hosting Happy Hour Events to help business people connect
9. Hosting dinners to help others connect
10. Leading a men’s support meeting
11. Speaking at events
12. Helping unload a storage unit
13. Buying services I really didn’t need just to help the guy out
14. Delivering some surprise gifts to some key relationships
15. Picking up the tab often
16. Giving someone a lift when their car was broke down
17. Listened when someone needed to talk
18. Painted a fence for a friend
19. Donated to my church
